Check the Button Box in Windows (no drivers, no additional software required)

1. Connect the Button Box directly (with no USB hub) to your PC using the original USB cable.

2. Type joy.cpl in the Windows search bar (or right-click the Windows Start button → select Run → type joy.cpl and press Enter).

3. The Game Controllers window will appear. Check if your Button Box is listed (as Button Box Interface or Arduino Leonardo, depending on the model). Click Properties and test all switches and encoders.

4. Launch your sim racing title and assign the controls in-game.
